Context
Storefront is a flexible e-commerce app builder that serves as a base for client-specific customizations. It provides a ready-made architecture and UI for fast deployment of mobile shopping experiences.
My Role
I led the design of the core interface and built the design system, including reusable UI components for the consumer side of the app.
Approach & Process
I combined research of popular e-commerce apps with analysis of usability issues in existing solutions. This informed a component structure optimized for customization and real user needs.
Solution
The new system accelerated app development and customization by 3x. Clients now receive tested, user-friendly interfaces that reduce friction and speed up time-to-market.
